Abstract

|
Gastrointestinal bleeding is not an uncommon occurance in childhood. Accurate diagnosis and proper management are often difficult.
Author reviewed the, diagnostic steps and emergency management ;in gastrointestinal bleeding. Differential diagnosis of hematemesis and rectal bleeding are also made in relationship with age and clinical features.
